Barter Babes are Back with a Neck Tie Drive for Working Wardrobes!
Hi Babes….. We’re back!
We’re sorry we had to take a bit of a break but our lives got a little crazy. We are so fortunate to have amazing careers that really took off, but it didn’t leave us much time for anything else.
While we are working on our next Barter Babes Brunch, we wanted to introduce you to a new organization. Working Wardrobes! Working Wardrobes empowers men, women, veterans and young adults overcoming difficult challenges to confidently enter the workforce and achieve success. Working Wardrobes clients are workforce ready by participating in career training, job placement assistance and professional wardrobe services in an environment of dignity and respect.
The more we learned about Working Wardrobes, the more we fell in love and thought that it would be a great organization for the Barter Babes to support.
So, we are doing an extra little fund-raiser for them… a Neck Tie Drive! Typically we are all about the ladies but we think the men need some love too. All you have to do is bring a new or nearly new neck tie and drop it off in our Barter Babes Bucket located in the brand new Vino Nostra wine bar in Downtown Fullerton. While you are there, stay for a glass of wine and say, “hi” to Dena, one of our very own Barter Babes! We are thrilled for her and love her new place. We think you will too.
